The mohair wool comes from Angora goats living in South Africa (originally from Ankara in Turkey) and the goats are gently sheared twice a year. We only use certified "non-mulesed" mohair for good animal welfare. The wool is very full & has a silky shine. We have mixed the "fluffy" mohair with wool & a little nylon to strengthen the yarn and ensure minimal pilling.

We work with natural materials of good quality such as cashmere, yak wool, mohair and various other wool blends as well as cotton & silk. Common to all of them is a soft, warm and caressed feeling against the skin. All our styles are created with consideration for the environment and a sustainable future. A large part of our cashmere is certified under Ecocert.
