WASH
You can easily machine wash your knitwear on a wool program (30°) and spin at low rpm (400-600). Please use a laundry bag when machine washing. You can use Delicate Laundry Detergent from Steamery, which is specially developed for washing wool and silk products, and do not use fabric softener.

You can also hand wash your knitwear. But be careful not to wash or rinse the knitwear under running water, just soak it in water (30°) and use detergent intended for wool. Do not twist or stretch the knitwear.

But it is actually gentler for wool, especially cashmere, to be washed in the machine, as it ensures the right temperature. Light and dark woolen clothes should not be mixed together, as the dark clothes may stain the light clothes.

DRYING
We recommend that you dry your knitwear on a towel after washing. Please do not tumble dry or hang it up to dry, as the knitwear will stretch out of shape. Dry your knitwear away from direct sunlight, as it can be bleached. Wool is self-cleaning, so you can safely air your sweater and save water.

IRONING & STEAMING
You can easily iron and steam your cashmere and wool products. Just remember to set the iron on low-medium heat so that the fine natural fibers don't get burned. Iron with a towel/dishcloth between the iron and the sweater. Use plenty of steam.

STORAGE

We recommend that you do not hang your knitwear on a hanger, as knitwear that is hung on a hanger for a long time will stretch out of shape. Therefore, store your sweaters lying flat in the closet. To avoid moths, you can air them out regularly and enclose our cedar balls.

CARE
Since our knitwear is made from the softest natural material, it can happen that they get pilling/pilling in larger areas when friction occurs. This typically happens under the arms or up the sides of your sweater. But this can be very easily removed gently with our Cashmere Comb , which is also made from cedar wood. You can also use our Fabric Shaver , an effective shaver for textiles that gently removes hair and lint from all types of materials.

For daily care of your knitwear, we recommend Fabric Spray from Steamery. It gives your textiles a gentle and lasting scent of fresh rose and rose and removes odors.
